Minister: State Committed to Support, Activate Tourism
Khartoum – Minister of Tourism, Archeology and Wildlife, Mohamed Abdul Karim Al-Hud, affirmed the state’s commitment to support and activate tourism and to remove all obstacles hindering the progress of this sector.
Addressing press, he said this year will witness many tourist activities across the country and announced the activities of the 1st international tourism conference in the Sudan scheduled to be held during the period from 8 to 12 April.
Sudan participated in many exhibitions and now the time has come for it to host one to encourage internal tourism and to benefit from foreign investment in the field of tourism.
He said the objective of the conference is to preserve the Sudanese identity and national culture and to promote tourist culture of the people.
Meanwhile, Ali Mohamed Musa, the State Minister at the Ministry of Tourism has called on the media to play a greater role in reflecting aspects of tourism in the Sudan.
