Cabinet Affairs Minister Underlines Importance of Tourism
Khartoum – The Minister of the Council of Ministers Ahmed Saad Omer has affirmed importance of tourism in building the bridges of contact with the nations of the world and its role in developing the economic action in the Arab world.
This came during his meeting Wednesday at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers with the delegation of the Arab Organization for Tourism led by its Chairman Dr. Bandar Fahad Al-Fehaid, in the presence of the Minister of Tourism Engineer Mohamed Abdul-Karim Al-Hud.
The meeting discussed the activities and programmes of the organization in the Arab region and its efforts in the development of tourism action.
Dr. Al-Fehaid explained that the aim of his visit to Sudan was to participate in the activities of the Sudan First International Exhibition for Tourism and Shopping, pointing out that the exhibition represented qualitative shift in highlighting Sudan Tourism capabilities along its effective contribution to the attraction of Arab and foreign investments.
He stressed support of the organization to Sudan in the tourism field.
